Ark brings the power of modern AI to your pocket without compromising privacy. Using Apple's MLX framework, it runs MLX-optimized models (Qwen 2.5 0.5B/1.5B) directly on your device. Chat with AI, attach PDFs, text, images, CSV, and JSON files for analysis — all offline, all private.

Technical Architecture

Built with Swift, SwiftUI, and MLX Swift for on-device machine learning. Uses SwiftData for persistent storage. The app downloads MLX-optimized models (Qwen 2.5 series) and runs inference entirely on the device using Apple's Neural Engine.
